Treating Pelvic instability in Enschede

An unstable feeling in the pelvis, often around or after pregnancy.

With pelvic instability the pelvis feels loose or unreliable, with pain when walking, climbing stairs or turning over in bed. The complaint is common during or after pregnancy, but can have other causes too.

The pelvic joints no longer move smoothly against each other, so the surrounding muscles have to work extra hard and pain develops.

How we help you with pelvic instability

We treat the pelvic joints carefully so they move in balance again, and help you with exercises to stabilise the pelvis. The approach is gentle and matched to your situation.

Frequently asked questions

Can a chiropractor help with pelvic instability?

That depends on the cause, which is why we always start with a thorough examination. If your complaint turns out to be suitable for chiropractic care, we draw up a treatment plan that fits you. Many people experience relief, although results differ from person to person.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book an appointment directly, without a referral from your GP.

Is the treatment reimbursed?

Chiropractic care is not part of the Dutch basic health insurance, but many insurers cover it under supplementary insurance. No deductible (eigen risico) applies. The pricing page explains how to submit your invoice.

How many treatments will I need?

That differs per person and per complaint. After the first examination we give you a realistic estimate and a plan, so you know where you stand.
