Treating Golfer's elbow in Enschede
Pain on the inside of the elbow caused by overloading.
A golfer's elbow is similar to a tennis elbow, but on the inside of the elbow. The tendons that flex the wrist and fingers become overloaded, causing pain when gripping and bending the wrist.
As with tennis elbow, the complaint has nothing to do with sport as such; repeated loading at work or around the house is a common cause.
How we help you with golfer's elbow
We treat the affected tendons and muscles and, where needed, include the wrist, elbow and neck in the examination. You get advice to take the load off the arm.
Frequently asked questions
Can a chiropractor help with golfer's elbow?
That depends on the cause, which is why we always start with a thorough examination. If your complaint turns out to be suitable for chiropractic care, we draw up a treatment plan that fits you. Many people experience relief, although results differ from person to person.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book an appointment directly, without a referral from your GP.
Is the treatment reimbursed?
Chiropractic care is not part of the Dutch basic health insurance, but many insurers cover it under supplementary insurance. No deductible (eigen risico) applies. The pricing page explains how to submit your invoice.
How many treatments will I need?
That differs per person and per complaint. After the first examination we give you a realistic estimate and a plan, so you know where you stand.
