Treating Tennis elbow in Enschede

Pain on the outside of the elbow from overloaded forearm muscles.

A tennis elbow causes pain on the outside of the elbow that can radiate into the forearm. The pain comes from overloading the tendons that extend the wrist and fingers, and not necessarily from tennis.

The complaint often gets worse when gripping, lifting or twisting the wrist.

How we help you with tennis elbow

We treat the overloaded tendons and muscles and check whether the neck or wrist are playing a part. With advice on loading and exercises we help the arm recover.

Frequently asked questions

Can a chiropractor help with tennis elbow?

That depends on the cause, which is why we always start with a thorough examination. If your complaint turns out to be suitable for chiropractic care, we draw up a treatment plan that fits you. Many people experience relief, although results differ from person to person.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book an appointment directly, without a referral from your GP.

Is the treatment reimbursed?

Chiropractic care is not part of the Dutch basic health insurance, but many insurers cover it under supplementary insurance. No deductible (eigen risico) applies. The pricing page explains how to submit your invoice.

How many treatments will I need?

That differs per person and per complaint. After the first examination we give you a realistic estimate and a plan, so you know where you stand.
